Account and data deletion

Delete your CycleAffirm account and data

You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. No reasons needed. This page covers the CycleAffirm app by Badal Lalwani, on Google Play.

In the app

  1. Open CycleAffirm and go to You.
  2. Tap Delete my account and data.
  3. Confirm it's you, with Google or your password. That's it, it's deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email us from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my CycleAffirm data”. We'll confirm and delete your account and data within 30 days.

What's deleted

  • Your check-ins, notes and cycle history
  • Your phase summaries and setup answers
  • What you share with others, including your shared energy
  • Your invite codes, and the replies, notes, cards and partners' shared check-in days in your account
  • Your devices and your optional research record
  • The reports you sent us
  • Your sign-in

If you joined as a partner or family member, deleting also removes the replies, notes and cards you sent, your daily check-ins (partners) and the energy, fuse and battery shared from them, and unlinks you.

What's kept, and for how long

  • Short-lived copies on our server: if our server can't be reached when you delete, cached AI replies expire within about 20 hours, a partner's note held for your widget within 48 hours, and widget codes stop working within 60 days.
  • Usage counters (account IDs, dates and which preset reply was sent, never your notes or moods) aren't deleted straight away. They're cleared the next time they're used or when our server tidies that storage, which may not happen after you leave.
  • If you supported someone, they keep a record of your first name, your relationship and when you linked, until they delete it or their account.
  • Copies on a supporter's phone clear the next time they open the app.
  • Technical logs kept by our hosting provider, Cloudflare (such as the time, the route and possibly your IP address), are kept for a few days.
  • Data sent to Anthropic for AI-written lines is deleted by Anthropic within 30 days, unless flagged for misuse review or the law requires keeping it longer.

Delete only some of it

  • Turn off sharing, or cancel unused invite codes, in Settings.
  • Remove and block anyone you've added, from You → People who support you.
  • Partners can tap Delete my check-ins in Settings to remove every check-in they've saved.
